The sixth season of StarStruck premiered on September 7, 2015 replacing Reply 1997. After more than five years of hiatus, GMA Network re-launched the Philippines' original "artista" search on television for its sixth season,where the age limit is set from 15 years old to 20 years old. Dingdong Dantes reprises his role as the host for this edition He has been the host of Starstruck since the first season. After signing an exclusive contract of one year in GMA Network in March 2015, Miss World 2013 Megan Young, who is an alumna from the second season, joins Dantes as main host for this season
